Those who type different variations of WTS/WTB to get past the (Party Search) thing.
People who try to rip you off and then call you a noob cause you won't sell your item for half the price to them.
Spells hurting you even though Spell breaker is on. Spell Breaker suddenly stops working at times even though it's on and the icon is there.
Attack 1 group of enemies and 2-3 other groups from off map come rushing to you.
WTB Runescape gold for GW gold.

WHen you're right next to a foe but it keeps saying your view of the target is obstructed, when it's clearly not because, hello, you're right there.
People who spam stupid things during AB is annoying and when you put them on ignore it still doesn't help because that only works for whispering.
Lag sucks too. hehe
Oh and of course when people keep messaging me when I'm trying to do a mission or something difficult when I tell them not to.

People who don't stop spamming mid-mission for everyone to hurry. The rest of us are trying to think of plans to do it safely with what we have while some Obsidian Flesh warrior is charging right in with "HURRY HURRY!"
Yes, I thought it'd be a good idea to help a friend in a PUG.

That happens in Fort Aspenwood quite a bit, too. Although it does lead to funny results.
"I'm attacking Kurzick Assassin!"
"I'm using Frenzy!"
"I'm dead!"
"I'm dead!"
"I'm dead!"

It bothers me how people say, "NEED 100K + XXX ECTO."
XXX = strong beer or adult movies. It also makes the seller look extremely greedy.

Rue the q.

But but but... have you seen how few letters/characters you get to advertise your wares in the silly "search" window? Every one counts. I agree, it's not the best solution, but often abbreviating "requirement" with just the letter q instead of "req" will allow you to actually fit the requirement itself into that tiny tiny space.
Just saying.

True, but typical logic would lead you to abbreviate it to R, not Q.
Q tends to annoy me as well.

Sure, except that R is the traditional in-game abbreviation for "Rank". Okay, when you're selling something, rank isn't really in context, but still... why not just use the (very widely accepted and known) abbreviation of q, and avoid any potential confusimacation.
Oh, and directly on topic, my pet peeve:
People saying that a req. 9 gold inscribable <sword/staff/shield/etc.> with no mods isn't perfect. Hell, I'd advertise a req.11 15^50|furious 10%|AL+7 vs. elemental as a "q11 perfect furious<skin type>of warding" so as to try and fit all the info into the pathetically small text box in the search window.

"^" <--- that's an arrow, it's pinting up, as in "above". Hence 15^50 = 15 above 50. There is no such thing as 15^enchanted or 15^stanced or 15^-10.
Perfect inscribable <item>
Perfect & inscribable do not belong in the same sentance.

Just to play devil's advocate: you will agree that the ^ is generally accepted as being short for "while health is above"... shorten that to "while", and it works. How else would you shorten it? Remember, the search window only holds so many characters, and when you're trying to sell (or buy) something specific, you have to make every letter count.
So many of these peeves seem to involve people shortening/abbreviating things. I find it odd, given the total lack of space available to advertise in-game. /shrug

does "%" take up more space than this "^"?
